Divya has worked with Alvogen since 2009 and formally joined the company in 2012.  He was appointed as the CEO of Alvogen and its affiliate Almatica in January 2026. Divya has held various pharmaceutical leadership positions during the past 30 years, including Executive Chairman of Actavis in the US.  In addition, he has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare investing with a focus on the pharmaceutical and longevity-science sectors. For Alvogen, he provides a proven track record as a senior leader in the generic pharmaceutical space.

Divya Patel, CEO

Tunie serves as the Chief Financial Officer. She has 25 years of Finance experience, with over 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry.  Prior to joining Alvogen in 2018, Tunie held various senior financial positions at Par Pharmaceutical and Endo from 2006 to 2018.  Tunie was an integral part of the turnaround and growth of Par and its successful sale to Endo in 2015.

Tunie is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New Jersey and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University.

Tunie Zaku

Rama Yarasani joined Almatica in September 2018 and is responsible for management of all aspects of CMS, Clinical Pharmacology, Regulatory Affairs, Project Management, Commercial Validation and Product Transfers.  He has almost thirty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in 505(b)(2) and complex generic products.

Rama holds a Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, a Masters degree in Pharmaceutics and a PhD in Pharmaceutics all from Andhra University in India.

Rama Yarasani

As VP of Human Resources, Emily is responsible for all strategic initiatives related to employee development, engagement, and retention in the US region. Her role includes supporting staff growth by developing and implementing comprehensive reward, training, and leadership programs; recruiting and onboarding new employees to the company; and ensuring adherence to government and legal requirements.

Emily is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and manufacturing industries. Prior to Alvogen, Emily held progressive roles at Novartis, Gerber Products, Viacom, and Occidental Chemical. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Northwestern University.
