Lisa founded Almatica in 2009 and serves as the CEO. Under Lisa’s leadership, Almatica is actively pursuing the expansion of its US product portfolio through the development of its own product pipeline and through the in-licensing and acquisition of products that are either marketed in the US or are in late-stage development. 

Lisa Graver, CEO

As head of Legal for the US, Andrea directs legal strategy for the US business and provides legal guidance to all departments. She leads Almatica’s Hatch Waxman litigation strategy and also handles US transactions including acquisitions and partnerships. Prior to joining Almatica, Andrea served as Director, Intellectual Property at Actavis. 

She also worked as an Intellectual Property attorney at a boutique law firm. She received her JD, cum laude, from Western New England University, Bachelors of Arts degrees, cum laude, in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology and Psychology from Boston University and her MBA, with honors, from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Andrea has licenses to practice law in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut and is also a registered US Patent Attorney.

Andrea Sweet

Tunie serves as the Chief Financial Officer. She has 20 years of Finance experience, with over 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry. She was an integral part of the turnaround and growth of Par and its successful sale to Endo in 2015.

Most recently, Tunie was the Generics Business Controller for Endo Pharmaceuticals where she was responsible for generics consolidated financial statements, global policy and processes, and alliance management. She has worked on several key organizational-wide strategic initiatives including leading the finance integration for Par and a number of restructuring initiatives resulting in bottom line savings.

Tunie is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New Jersey and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Seton Hall University.

Tunie Zaku

Rama joined Almatica in September 2018 and is responsible for all aspects of Generics and Brand R&D, including Biopharmaceutics, Clinical Pharmacology, Project Management,product transfers and commercial validation at all internal and external sites.

Rama is a seasoned executive with over twenty years in the pharmaceutical industry, with significant development experience in complex generics and 505(b)2 products. Most recently he was the Vice President and Generic R&D Site Head for the Teva Pharmaceuticals Elizabeth, New Jersey site. There he managed a R&D team involved in the development of complex generic products including first to file and first to market as well as some brand products for US market. Rama also oversaw the development of generic products for European, Mexican and Canadian markets.

Rama holds a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences, and a MS in Pharmaceutics and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics all from Andhra University in India. He also has post-doctoral research experience at Kyoto Pharmaceutical University in Kyoto, Japan. In addition, he is the recipient of numerous awards for his work, as well as a published author for scientific research articles.

Rama Yarasani

As head of Regulatory Affairs for the US, Michelle directs the strategic regulatory approaches for Almatica’s NDA and ANDA programs, ensuring compliant and efficient program advancement.  Michelle has over 25+ years experience establishing regulatory strategies and leading regulatory operations for both generic and branded drug product development and life cycle management with key leadership roles at Tolmar Inc., and most recently at Lachman Consultant Services.  

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Colorado State University.

Michelle Ryder

Carl joined Almatica in June 2022 as Senior Vice President Supply Chain and leads all facets of Supply Planning and Third Party supply networks to ensure optimal inventory levels to support robust Customer Service expectations.  He is an accomplished Life Science leader with nearly thirty years of comprehensive global supply chain and operational management responsibilities in both the pharmaceutical and device industry.  Carl is well versed in managing complex projects, directing cross-functional teams, championing compliance, and working with Regulatory agencies.  Some successes from his career include: Major product launches, acquisitions and divestitures, U.S. FDA drug and device warning letter remediation, and complex technical transfer.  His career spans progressive leadership roles at Abbott Laboratories, Hospira, Pfizer and Mayne Pharma.    

Carl holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from North Carolina Wesleyan University.

Carl Turner

As Human Resources Director, Emily is responsible for all strategic initiatives related to employee development, engagement and retention in the US region. Her role includes supporting staff growth by developing and implementing comprehensive reward, training and leadership programs; recruiting and onboarding new employees to the company; and ensuring adherence to government and legal requirements.

Emily is an accomplished Human Resources professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and manufacturing industries. Prior to Alvogen, Emily held progressive roles at Novartis, Gerber Products, Viacom and Occidental Chemical. Emily holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Northwestern University.

Emily Smith

As Vice President of Information Technology for the US Region, Neha’s roles include supporting Almatica’s growth by partnering with the company's business units to fuel innovation and provide strategic insights through the use of cutting-edge technology. Through her efforts, Neha brings daily IT efficiency to all staff.

Neha joined Almatica in 2015 and has more than 20 years of extensive Information Technology experience in the pharmaceutical, telecommunication and banking industries. Prior to joining Alvogen, she ensured superior IT processes at Daiichi Sankyo Pharma. Neha holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
